Laura leads FORGE to ensure delivery on mission to help startups with physical products from prototype to commercialization and impact at scale.

Laura leads FORGE to ensure delivery on mission to help startups with physical products from prototype to commercialization and impact at scale. She is responsible for the health and sustainability of the organization, overseeing all operational, financial, and program management, and setting forward-looking strategy to accelerate impact.

Prior to joining FORGE, Laura served as Executive Director of the Boston chapter of the largest global not-for-profit network dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, TiE. Previously, Laura managed business operations at a scaling financial firm, designing the systems to support the growth and evolution of the firm and the team. At the same time, Laura served as President of the Boston Professional Chapter of Net Impact, a worldwide network that connects and empowers young professionals seeking to use business as a force for positive environmental and social impact. Laura remains on the Advisory Council there, underscoring her commitment to driving impactful, transformational change.

Laura’s analytical and creative approach to identifying and tackling organizational opportunities stems from a unique background that includes work experience in innovation, operations, and policy, and degrees in business, studio art, and English. With a focus on building cross-cultural teams and creating shared value, Laura earned her M.B.A. from Boston University in 2012, completing portions of her studies in China and Brazil. Prior to completing her graduate degree, Laura worked for the Massachusetts Senate for three years.

In her free time Laura enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking with her dog Finn.
