FORGE wins Startup Boston 2024 Community Award

FORGE was honored to accept the Startup Boston Community Award for Best Accelerator or Incubator Program of the year! 

Startup Boston is an organization that supports innovation in the Boston area and throughout New England by educating, connecting, and celebrating entrepreneurs. It began as a community event, Startup Boston Week. Since its founding in 2016, it’s grown into a platform to make connections in the startup ecosystem and give innovators access to the initiatives, events, and opportunities they need to succeed. Startup Boston’s community is huge and active. More than 15,000 people subscribe to its newsletter, and 300 speakers and more than 7,000 registrants attended last year’s Startup Boston Week.

Startup Boston administers an annual series of awards in categories like Startup of the Year, Investor of the Year, and Equity Champion. New England’s startup community submits nominations. Judges choose the top three nominees in each category. Then, the public votes to choose the winners – a truly community-centered way to bestow awards.

The award FORGE won, Best Accelerator or Incubator Program, goes to “the accelerator or incubator who represents a diverse portfolio of founders and is constantly giving back and helping to better the startup community.” 

FORGE’s mission is to help innovators with physical products navigate the journey from prototype through to commercialization and impact at scale. We’re proud to be recognized for the support we provide to New England’s innovation ecosystem. Since our founding in 2015, we’ve helped more than 800 emerging hardtech companies through manufacturing readiness education, curated connections to our supply chain network, and events focused on physical product innovation. This award highlights the importance of FORGE’s work and pushes us to strive even harder to fulfill our mission. We have so much love for our local startup community, and we’re honored to see that the feeling is mutual!
